How Mexico and the US harm each other

Our humanities homework for today? Find out how Mexico and the US harm each other.

In a recent study, it showed that the contaminated air in Mexico City does more damage to children than cigarette smoke. It can also cause chronic lung diseases when they're adults. With the pollution in the air, and us living so close, it definitely affects us here in the United States. With wind travelling, that polluted air can also get us sick or have lung disease too.

The US can also affect Mexico too. Although I can't think of many right now, but some things that I've heard that affects Mexicans are crossing the border. They need green cards, visas, birth certificates, or passports. I think that this affects Mexico and Mexicans by making them fustrated and kind of forcing them to cross over illegally. Maybe if the US was lighter on them then it would be easier and faster to cross over.

Really great ideas, Joelle! I like how you were able to slip on both perspectives and find ways that the countries can cause harm to one another.

I think it's cool that you were able to think of ways the USA harms Mexico, and not just the other way around
