That's a tough question...
Over the weekend, I thought about it, and I really wanna just make it easier for immigrants to cross so they won't die trying to cross. I would also like to make it easier for the immigrants to get visas and greencards, but also have they border patrol and the enforcements to be somewhat strong to keep them in line.

What can High Tech High Chula Vista do to benefit the border region?
Well, as students, adults don't really see us as an authority or people who can be able to make change. And Kay wants us to write a blog about how HTHCV can benefit the border. So, honestly, on my way home, I couldn't think of anything.
So how could I change something....anything?
Personally, I'm very good at Service Learning and Community Service all just because I like to help people. I think I could change something just by something small like reading to children (like we did at the Otay Ranch Town center on Saturday) or also what we're doing for ASB, the toy drive. I think that toys or reading to someone makes people happy. And when people are happy, I believe that itself changes the world.
As a school, I think we should start with something small. I mean, we couldn't help people get visas or green cards. But we could raise money to help the needy. Or also like what we did in Math, have a canned food drive to go to the orphanage in TJ. Our school definitely has a lot of potential to do a lot to help others. And we are all really aware of that. I think we are all really fortunate for what we have and doing something small for someone else could change the world.

Stereotypes
Stereotype: "A conventional, formulaic, and oversimplified conception, opinion, or image."
Stereotypes can be about religion, gender, size, ethnicity, age, race, sexual orientation, nationality, profession, physical appearance, social class, disability, and so much more.
I think that common stereotypes are about race and religion. (ex. All Asians are smart)
Stereotypes could come from centuries ago and taught by parents. Like a child could have those opinions only because their parents told them that and that's the only perspective that they've seen (ex. heiresses). It can also come from individual opinions too.
